I know during this time we are supposed to stay at home, isolated from others, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go outside and have our fun in the sun. The question is, what is there to do while outside? Well, there are plenty of activities to do alone or in a group, so here is a list of activities to do outdoors.
If you have a nice backyard, or a parking lot that is not busy, then doing physical activities would be a fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Some fun physical activities to do alone are biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, exercising, and running. If you share a space with others, you can do group activities, like baseball, volleyball, corn hole, flag football, catch, scavenger hunt, biking, gardening, and soccer, just to name a few. You can also go swimming, if you have a pool.
Relaxing activities for the outdoors
You don’t have to be active in order to enjoy the sun; you can also relax while outside. You can eat, play games, write, read, take a nap, meditate, listen to music, work on projects or homework, work on crafts, or just sit there and take in nature’s beauty. If you, again, share a space with others, then you can play board games, have a craft party, write a story together, have a picnic, or do group yoga.
So, there you have it. A list of activities you can do with your companions, or alone. I understand it is a rough time right now, but try to relax and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
